Man pulled knife during argument at Madison park, police say
51-year-old arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct while armed
MADISON, Wis. — Police said a man was arrested at a near east Madison park after he reportedly pulled a knife on another man during an argument Saturday night.
The Madison Police Department said officers responded to a report of a disturbance at Burr Jones Park on East Washington Avenue at 7:19 p.m. A man was reportedly threatening another man with a knife.
Police said 51-year-old Ron Hanko, with no permanent address, had an argument with another man then chased the man through the park with a knife.
No one was injured, according to the report. The knife was found nearby.
Hanko was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct while armed.
