Man on motorcycle suspected of 4th OWI
Janesville resident fled scene of disorderly incident, police say
JANESVILLE, Wis. — A Janesville man is suspected of a fourth OWI after police said he fled a disorderly conduct incident Friday.
The Janesville Police Department said Jeffrey Becker, 39, left an alleged disorderly conduct scene at the 2500 block of West Burbank Avenue at about 7 p.m. Police said an officer spotted Becker speeding on his motorcycle on Kellogg Avenue and pulled Becker over.
According to the report, Becker failed field sobriety tests and would not voluntarily submit an alcohol breath test.
Police said officers obtained a warrant to draw and test Becker’s blood and results are pending.
Becker was taken to the Rock County Jail and charged with OWI fourth offense, disorderly conduct and unreasonable and imprudent speed.
According to the report, Becker has three previous drunken-driving convictions.
