The man known as “Rocky Rococo” has died.
James Martin Pedersen died Thursday. He played the role of “Rocky Rococo” for the chain of Rocky Rococo pizza restaurants for decades and lived in the Madison area.

“As Rocky, we valued his personal appearances because he could relate. He was adaptable.”
“He became literally the face of Rocky. Everything was built around him,” Mosely said. “He was a wonderful, talented guy.”
Mosely said Pedersen did many other things in his career. He said Pedersen was with Second City in Chicago in the 1970s.
