Man knocked out of his shoes in hit-and-run
Incident happened early Tuesday on Verona Rd.
MADISON, Wis. — A 21-year-old Madison man suffered a non-life threatening internal injury early Tuesday morning following a hit-and-run on Madison’s west side, according to Madison police.
The incident happened in the 4900 block of Verona Rd. just before 12:30 a.m. Tuesday.
According to police, the victim was drunk and appeared to have been knocked out of his shoes when he was found.
Police said the victim has some minor lacerations along with the internal injury. Police are investigating it as a car vs. pedestrian hit-and-run.
