Man killed in Columbia County crash identified
DEKORRA, Wis. — The man who was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Columbia County on Friday morning has been identified.
According to a news release, 66-year-old Stephen J. Riggins, of rural Poynette, died after an Alliant Energy utility truck failed to stop at a stop sign and hit Riggins’ vehicle.
Officials said Riggins and his dog, who was inside the vehicle with him, were both dead at the scene.
The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash.
