Driver suffered minor injuries
TOWN OF EXETER, Wis. — A Monticello man was arrested on suspicion of third-offense operating while intoxicated after a rollover crash in the town of Exeter Thursday morning, according to the Green County Sheriff’s Department.
Deputies said they came across a crash on County Road D and Feller Road at 12:24 a.m.
Investigators said the driver, Kendrick J. Eichelkraut, 23, was driving south and negotiating a curve when he crossed the centerline and went into the shoulder on the east side of the road. He overcorrected, sending the vehicle across the road and into an embankment on the west side of the road, according to a report. The vehicle overturned and landed on its wheels.
Eichelkraut suffered minor injuries and refused medical treatment.
He was also cited for operating with a revoked driver’s license, failure to maintain control and failure to notify police of an accident.
