Man injured during Sauk County crash between ATV, truck
TOWNSHIP OF REEDSBURG, Wis. — One person was injured Tuesday night during a crash between a pickup truck and an ATV in Sauk County.
It happened around 6:50 p.m. on westbound County Highway K in the township of Reedsburg.
An initial investigation by the Sauk County Sheriff’s Office shows a man was operating an ATV on the shoulder of the road when the pickup ruck pulled up slightly behind or next to the ATV.
The ATV pulled into the lane of traffic in front of the truck and the two vehicles collided, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
The man driving the ATV was taken to a local hospital then airlifted another one in Madison.
The driver of the truck was not injured.
The crash remains under investigation by the Sauk County Sheriff’s Office.
The names of those involved have not been released.
Reedsburg Fire and Reedsburg Ambulance responded to the scene.
