Man facing charges after attempting to force his way into a home in Sauk County

Police: Man spits into, jumps on hood, roof of car, scares 2 women inside

According to Sauk County police, a Baraboo man attempted to force entry into a Fairfield home and was held by gunpoint by a neighbor until police arrived.

Police say Sauk County sheriff’s deputies responded to a 10:30 p.m. report of a person peeking into the windows of a residence on Pinke Knoll Court. On their way, deputies were informed that the suspect was attempting to force his way into the home and was being held at gunpoint by a neighbor, whom the homeowner had contacted.

Deputies found the suspect and the neighbor in the back yard. Police identified the suspect as Theodore L. Brown, 19, of Baraboo. Police say he appeared to be intoxicated and believed he was at his own residence.

Police said Brown was arrested for disorderly conduct, and deputies found marijuana and drug paraphernalia in his pockets. He is incarcerated in the Sauk County Jail and is charged with disorderly conduct, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
