Man faces OWI charge after being pinned in crash
Police: Man ran stop sign, crashed into utility pole
MADISON, Wis. — Madison police said a 29-year-old man had to be taken to the hospital after he blew through a stop sign and crashed his car against a utility pole.
The incident happened just before 3 a.m. Tuesday on the West Beltline Frontage Road near Landmark Place on the city’s south side.
According to police, Vincent Parrott, 29, had to be extricated from his vehicle by the Madison Fire Department. Police said a witness contacted them after the crash, and said Parrott was seen driving recklessly on the frontage road very fast.
Parrott was treated for minor injuries at a local hospital. He faces numerous charges, including operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated and reckless driving.
