Man faces fourth OWI charge
Police: Man failed sobriety tests
JANESVILLE, Wis. — A man was arrested early Saturday on charges of operating while intoxicated, his fourth OWI arrest.
Christopher S. Ford, 34, was stopped for speeding in the 2000 block of Nicolet Street in Rock County around 2:30 a.m., according to police. The officer noticed an odor of alcohol, and Ford admitted to consuming alcohol prior to driving, Janesville police said.
According to police, Ford failed standardized field sobriety tests and was arrested. He was taken to Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center for a legal blood draw and the results are currently unknown, said police.
Ford’s driving license was valid at the time of his arrest.
