MPD: Man faces burglary charges after breaking into Wright Middle School under the influence

MADISON, Wis. — Madison police arrested a man after finding him under the influence of synthetic marijuana in Wright Middle School just after midnight Saturday morning.

According to the incident report, a security officer located a broken window where it appeared someone made entry into the school. Police said they found Gerron Griffin not wearing pants and having recently defecated on the floor.

Griffin admitted to using synthetic marijuana prior to breaking and entering into the school. Nothing else was taken or damaged.

Griffin was seen by medical staff at a local hospital before being booked into the Dane County Jail on burglary charges.
