Man driving drunk injured in rollover crash, deputies say
TOWN OF SPRING GROVE, Wis. — A 25-year-old Juda man was injured Wednesday in single-vehicle rollover crash in Green County, according to a release.
Deputies were notified around 1:15 a.m. of a single-vehicle rollover crash with injuries at the intersection of County Road T and Highway 81 in the town of Spring Grove, officials said.
Caleb T. Vazquez was driving south on County Road T when he lost control of his vehicle, struck a stop sign, entered the west ditch, and overturned end-over-end several times before stopping on its roof, investigators said.
Vazquez was not wearing his seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle, according to the release. He was taken to a hospital for injuries he suffered in the crash.
Vazquez was cited for first-offense operating while intoxicated, failure to stop at a stop sign, not wearing a seatbelt and driving too fast for conditions.
