Man dies in Juneau County boat crash
Man died at Madison hospital
TOWN OF GERMANTOWN, Wis. — Authorities are investigating a weekend boating crash that left one man dead.
The Juneau County Sheriff’s Office said Monday that it received a report shortly before midnight Saturday that a boat carrying five people struck a rock on Castle Rock Lake in the Town of Germantown in central Wisconsin.
A 23-year-old man from Friendship was taken to UW Hospital in Madison, where he died of his injuries.
His name was not immediately released.
The incident remains under investigation by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, the Juneau County Sheriff’s Office and the Juneau County Coroner’s Office.
