Man described as ‘possibly dirty’ tries to get teen into car

Sun Prairie police are looking for information about a possible child enticement incident that happened Monday, according to a release.

A 13-year-old girl told police an adult man asked for the location of a street when she was on Edmonton Drive near Horizon Elementary School around 12:45 p.m., officials said.

When she said she did not know he motioned for her to get in his vehicle and help him, according to the release. The girl did not get in the vehicle and ran home.

The man is described as white, in his mid-40s and possibly dirty. He was driving a silver four-door car.
