Man charged with reckless homicide in connection to pregnant Milwaukee woman’s shooting death
MILWAUKEE, Wis. — A 31-year-old Milwaukee man has been arrested and charged in connection to the shooting death of a pregnant woman on a party bus.
CBS 58 in Milwaukee reports that Antion Haywood has been charged with first-degree reckless homicide and use of a dangerous weapon.
The criminal complaint said a group of people were on a party bus on the city’s north side on Feb. 1 when gunfire from a vehicle hit 33-year-old Annie Sandifer in the head.
Sandifer was drove to a hospital where she was pronounced dead, and an emergency C-section was performed and her baby was saved.
The child reportedly remains in the intensive care unit.
