Man charged with five counts of possession of child pornography
BOSCOBEL, Wis. — A Boscobel man was charged with five counts of possession of child pornography Friday after law enforcement officials took him into custody, according to a news release.
Law enforcement officers executed a search warrant on Zachary Dresen’s residence Wednesday, the release said.
The investigation was led by the Wisconsin Department of Justice Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and the Grant County Sheriff’s Office with help from the Boscobel Police Department and the U.S. Deparmtent of Homeland Security.
“DOJ and its more than 280 affiliate partners on the Wisconsin ICAC Task Force, like the Grant County Sheriff’s Office, are working together to keep our communities safe,” said Attorney General Kaul. “This case and many others across the state show the impact of that collaborative work by law enforcement.”
