A man was knocked unconscious and robbed when he decided to confront two men who were using a flashlight to look inside his car parked in his driveway.

The Waubesa Street man said he saw the men and confronted them at about 2 a.m. Monday. He said he hoped to scare the men away, but once he got outside, he realized one of the men had a knife. He said the other punched him in the face.

He told police that when he came to, his wallet and cellphone were missing from his pockets.

One of the men is described as black, in his mid-20s, 6 feet tall, weighing 150 pounds with a thin face. He was wearing a dark puffy coat and black knit cap. The other man is described as black, in his 20s, 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighing 230 pounds.
