Man banned from library found with knife, police say
MADISON, Wis. — A man who caused a disturbance at the Madison Public Library in downtown Madison was found with a knife after he was chased down, according to a release from Madison police.
Police were called at 9:43 a.m. Monday after a man who had been previously banned from the library caused a disturbance inside. He was taken into custody after a foot chase.
Police said Cincrone D. Gresham, 21, had an open folding knife in his hand hidden beneath a fleece blanket when he was taken into custody.
Gresham was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct while armed, carrying a concealed weapon, resisting/obstructing and unlawful trespass. He told officers he had no intention of harming anyone.
