Man arrested on suspicion of repeat THC possession
Police say 35-year-old was already on probation from a prior possession charge
MADISON, Wis. — Police said a Madison man was arrested Thursday after an officer investigating suspicious behavior in a parking lot found the man was carrying marijuana.
Police said an officer who was patrolling the neighborhood at about 11:45 p.m. near 4500 Verona Road stopped a minivan after observing suspicious behavior. The report did not itemize what type of behavior was witnessed.
After the driver was taken out of the van, police said the officer found multiple bags of marijuana on him.
The man driving the van, 35-year-old Keena Harrison, was charged on suspicion of possession of THC — a repeat offense — and a warrant arrest. Police also said Harrison was on probation for a previous THC possession case when he was arrested again Thursday night.
Madison police said the area around the parking lot had received past complaints of possible drug activity.
Harrison was taken to Dane County Jail.
