Man arrested for trying to steal tools at a Madison construction site
A Madison man is arrested after he was caught trying to burglarize a construction site.

MADISON, Wis. — A Madison man is arrested after he was caught trying to burglarize a construction site.
According to a release by Madison Police, a construction company employee contacted them Sunday night about a burglary in progress.
It happened in the 1300 block of Fish Hatchery Road.
The employee was home monitoring surveillance cameras at the construction site, when he saw at least three suspects break into a trailer containing high-value tools.
Officers responded and arrested Brandon D. Singleton, 21, on tentative attempted burglary charge.
The other suspects were able to escape.
Officers said the suspects had cut a padlock into the site, broke into the trailer and stole a duffel bag of tools.
