Man accused of using teen to deliver heroin
Madison man bound over for trial
JANESVILLE, Wis. — A man accused of using a minor to transport drugs between Chicago and Madison was bound over for trial Wednesday.
Milton Warren, 41, of Madison, is charged with possession of heroin with intent to deliver, possession of marijuana and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Janesville police said they planted a GPS tracker on the van Warren was using after hearing from an informant who had transported heroin for Warren.
Warren was arrested on Interstate 90/39 in Janesville during the same time police said they confiscated 321 grams of heroin from the backpack of a 17-year-old from Sun Prairie.
The teen was riding a Van Galder bus that stopped in Janesville on its trip from Chicago to Madison. He is charged with possession of heroin with intent to deliver.
The informant said Warren would go to Chicago, buy the heroin and give it to a man who would carry it on the bus from Chicago to Madison. Warren would pick it up, according to police testimony.
Warren is in jail on a $30,100 bond.
