Man accused of stalking, injuring at least 3
Erich Price allegedly rammed his car into other parked cars after altercation with girlfriend
LA CROSSE, Wis. — A La Crosse man is in jail on a felony stalking charge after ramming his car into multiple vehicles and injuring two people outside a north-side bar Friday night, according to police.
According to the police report, 29-year-old Erich Price got into a fight with an ex-girlfriend, then drove his car through a fence on Gillette Street and repeatedly ran into her parked car and other vehicles.
Officers arrived on scene to find several people holding Price down in the parking lot while he was kicking and screaming. The report said one man was transported to the hospital after Price allegedly bit him. A woman was also treated for non-life-threatening injuries after being hit by a parked car that Price hit with his own vehicle.
According to the report, police tazed Price twice in an attempt to get him under control, while he told them, “I came here to murder,” and “I’m going to kill you.”
Price is currently being held without bond at the La Crosse County Jail under several charges, including assault, destruction of property and driving under the influence.
