Man accused of embezzlement asks for new judge
Darlington man allegedly stole $55,000 from fire department
DARLINGTON, Wis. — A new judge could be coming in the case of a Darlington firefighter charged with embezzling money from the department.
Thirty-year-old Jonathan Grossen allegedly took $55,000 while acting as the department’s treasurer.
Now, his lawyer has asked for a new judge in the case.
He faces two counts of felony theft.
Bond was set at $50,000, with the condition he have no contact with any member of the Darlington Fire Department.
