Man accused of burglarizing Richland County beauty salon
VIOLA, Wis. — A 21-year-old man is facing charges in a salon burglary investigation in Richland County, officials said.
The Richland County Sheriff’s Office said it received a report of a burglary on Aug. 7 that occurred some time during the overnight hours at the Shear Bliss Beauty Salon on West Commercial Street in the village of Viola.
A joint investigation by the Richland County Sheriff’s Department and the Viola Police Department showed entry was made to the building and cash and other items were stolen.
Evidence collected at the scene led investigators to speak with Zach Alexander, of Soldiers Grove, the sheriff’s office said. Alexander reportedly admitted to the burglary.
He was arrested and taken to the Richland County Jail on tentative felony burglary and theft charges, officials said.
The case has been referred to the Richland County District Attorney’s Office.
