Man accused of 6th offense OWI
A Spring Green man was arrested on suspicion of sixth-offense operating while intoxicated after a traffic stop Saturday, according to the Sauk County Sheriff’s Office.
A deputy was following a vehicle heading south on Highway 23 south of Plain at 3 a.m. and reported seeing a cigarette thrown out the window and the vehicle crossing the centerline numerous times.
The deputy stopped the vehicle driven by Nathan Egli, 38, and said Egli showed signs of intoxication. Egli failed field sobriety tests and was arrested, according to the deputy.
