Mailbox vandals target more than 45 properties across multiple counties

CITY OF BERLIN, Wis. –  More than 45 properties were involved in a string of mailbox vandalism crimes across multiple counties.

The Green Lake County Sheriff’s Office reports on Monday around 4:16 a.m., neighbors living in the Town of Seneca, the Town of St. Marie, and the City of Berlin started calling in reports of their mailboxes being vandalized.

Deputies and officers collected information from victims at more than 45 properties.  Green Lake County officials say there were other reported victims in Marquette and Waushara counties as well.

Authorities believe the vandalism was likely committed Sunday night into Monday morning.
