Madison woman faces 5th OWI charge
Deputies pull over woman early Wednesday

MADISON, Wis. — A 37-year-old Madison woman faces her fifth charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated after she was pulled over on the east side early Wednesday morning, according to the Dane County Sheriff’s Department.
A sheriff’s deputy pulled over Nicole Esquivel around 3:15 a.m. Wednesday at the corner of U.S. Highway 51 and Commercial Avenue.
The deputy took her into custody after she lied about her identity during the traffic stop, according to the sheriff’s department. She also faces charges of operating after revocation and not having any car insurance.
