Alliant Energy Center honors contracts after holiday expo cancels last minute

MADISON, Wis. —  Madison is set to host its first WI Cannabis Expo presented by the WI Cannabis Association on Dec. 4, 2021 at the Alliant Energy Center.

The expo will be an opportunity to learn more about the cannabis industry and its future. Presentations and panel discussions will include topics such as the medical benefits of cannabis, Delta 8 THC, how to succeed from seeds to sales, how to make money in the cannabis game and pathways to the legalization of medical marijuana.

“In February 2020, The Shepherd Express, Milwaukee’s equivalent of the Isthmus newspaper, hosted Wisconsin’s first Cannabis Expo in Milwaukee on behalf of the WI Cannabis Association, where we had 130 vendors and over 3,100 attendees. Panelists on the legalization of THC discussion included legislators from both parties and the Lt. Governor. The energy and excitement was so positive that when we were asked to host a similar event in Madison, we quickly agreed,” said Louis Fortis, the event organizer.

The event will feature exhibitors covering all angles of the industry including growers, processors, dispensaries, operators, testers and investors. Guests will have the chance to sample and purchase product, attend presentations from leading experts in the cannabis, CBD and hemp industry and chat with other cannabis enthusiasts.

A limited number of tickets are available. Guests must be 18 years or older to attend. Early-bird tickets are on sale for $25 now through Oct. 22. Advanced tickets are $35, Oct. 23 to Dec. 4 and can be purchased at https://wicannabisexpo.com/madison-124.

Tickets will be available at the door while supplies last.

All COVID protocols are in place including proof of vaccine or a negative test result in the past three days. Masks are
