Madison police looking for speeders, seat belt use
Special enforcement set up this week
MADISON, Wis. — Madison police will be conducting special traffic enforcement in three areas of the city this week.
The traffic enforcement safety team will be at the following locations looking for speeders:
Tuesday at 5000 E. Washington Ave.
Wednesday in the 1700-1800 blocks of Fish Hatchery Road
The Thursday the team will be checking motorists in the 400-600 blocks of North Thompson Drive for seat belt use.
The special enforcement effort is part of the police department’s effort to improve traffic safety in the city.
