Police: Boy injured by pellet
MADISON, Wis. — Madison police are searching for a man who allegedly fired pellets at an apartment on Madison’s East Side.
Police said a woman heard the sound of breaking glass at her home in the 3000 block of Worthington Avenue just before 10 p.m. Wednesday.
Police said the woman’s boyfriend spotted a young man running away with something silver in his hand. Police said two pellets were shot at the apartment.
Madison police said a 14-year-old boy at a nearby apartment went outside after he heard some commotion. The boy told police he heard pellets zipping by his head and one round hit him in the leg.
Police are searching for a male teen in this incident. Police described the perpetrator as a black teen, 16 to 18 years old, about 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighing about 190 pounds. He is described as having wide shoulders, a dark complexion and “puffy” style hair.
