Madison police investigating four gas station burglaries

MADISON, Wis. — Madison police are investigating after four different gas stations were burglarized around the city.

Police said all four incidents occurred overnight Tuesday. It is unclear if the incidents are connected, and police are working to identify suspects.

Police said the Citgo in the 2300 block of Commercial Avenue, the CP Mart in the 4900 block of Commercial Avenue, and the BPs in the 4200 block of East Washington Avenue and 4300 block of Mohawk Drive were all burglarized.

Investigators are still working to determine what was stolen in the incidents, and have not yet given a total amount of money lost. Anyone with information on the incidents is urged to contact Madison Area Crime Stoppers at 608-266-6014.
