Car stolen from Madison seen speeding in Chicago suburb

MADISON, Wis. — Madison Police are investigating after a home was burglarized and a vehicle was stolen Wednesday morning.

Officers responded to reports of a burglary in the 1900 block of Sheridan Drive just before 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday.

Police say the victim had parked their vehicle outside and did not lock it. It is believed that the suspects were able to access then home by using the garage door opener in the car.

The suspects were then able to steal a set of keys and a vehicle from the home.

Police in Elgin, Ill. reported the stolen vehicle was driving recklessly in the area at around 8:30 a.m.
