Madison Museum of Contemporary Arts closed through March

Mayor wants to limit liquor licenses on State Street

MADISON, Wis. — The Madison Museum of Contemporary Art announced Monday that it is closing its galleries and canceling all of its programming through March.

In addition to the day-to-day closings, the museum has canceled its annual Chroma event, which was scheduled for April 17. Museum officials said they will refund all tickets for the event, but asked ticket holders to consider donating the refunds to the museum.

MMoCA staff encourage the public to check the museum’s social media for updated information.
