Madison mom tells police she’ll be worried about her children’s safety after shots fired incident
MADISON, Wis. — Madison police said several concerned callers contacted them after hearing gunshots Wednesday night in the 4200 block of Owl Creek Drive.
Officers said they spoke with a woman who saw a young man point and fire a handgun into the air.
She told officers she grabbed her family members and went inside.
Another woman told police she had recently moved into the area to escape gun violence. She said she would now have trouble sleeping and will be worrying about the safety of her children, according to police.
Madison police said they pulled over a car witnesses thought was the suspected vehicle.
A handgun was found and seized but officers were unable to make any arrests.
