Madison man charged with armed robbery
MADISON, Wis. — A Madison man was charged two weeks ago with allegedly brandishing a gun while robbing a Blooming Grove business.
According to officials, Jeremiah D. Edwards, 33, and Kanasha L. Woods of Milwaukee allegedly robbed an O’Reilly Auto Parts Store on Nov. 8 while brandishing a firearm.
Officials said that Woods is in custody while Edwards has yet to appear in federal court.
Edwards and Woods face 20 years in federal prison on the robbery charge and mandatory minimum of seven years for brandishing a firearm during a crime of violence if convicted.
According to officials, a grand jury is required to return an indictment within 30 days of a criminal complaint being filed.
