Madison man arrested in connection to attempted armed robbery
Police: 22-year-old also suspected in several other incidents
TOWN OF BLOOMING GROVE, Wis. — Dane County sheriff’s deputies arrested a Madison man in connection to an attempted armed robbery at a town of blooming Blooming Grove business, according to a release.
Brandon C. Hunt, 22, was arrested Jan. 30 for the attempted armed robbery of O’Reilly Auto Parts on Stoughton Road on Jan. 28, officials said.
Investigators said Hunt entered the store wearing ski mask, displayed a handgun and ordered two employees to go to a back room. He then fled on foot to a nearby getaway vehicle.
Hunt is also suspected in several other incidents, including some in other jurisdictions, according to the release. In addition to the armed robbery charges, Hunt also faces charges of resisting an officer.
