Headquartered in Madison, Fleetworthy Solutions is a one-stop shop for transportation safety and compliance. CEO Michael Precia says the company has been keeping the people behind some of the top brands safe for years.
Fleetworthy provides services to trucking companies that help keep them compliant with Department of Transportation regulations. It uses a software platform that becomes the company’s “single version of the truth,” Precia says, so companies can see how they are doing across their fleet and with their drivers and other important data points. They also provide onboarding help, document auditing and more.
With about 150 employees, Precia says his staff has a low rate of turnover, and many have been employed at Fleetworthy for 15 years or more. That’s due in part to the company’s positive work culture, competitive wages, flexibility and open-door policy, “so everyone feels like they are heard,” says Precia. They are also provided with opportunities to grow and advance their careers. “That’s something we are really passionate about.”
The company recently relocated its headquarters to give everyone more space in which to work and play. Having added a game room and more collaborative space, Precia says the goal was to nurture a family-like environment where employees could build relationships with their teammates while doing other things besides working.
“Our people are honest, work hard and look out for one another,” says Precia. “They can see the value in what they do every day by keeping our roads safe. They can see their effort in the fabric of the business. That’s why people work here.”
