Strictly Discs on Monroe Street has never closed in its 30 years due to the weather and the store said Wednesday is no different.
Instead of closing, Strictly Discs is hosting The Fahrenheit Sale all day Wednesday, a Facebook post said. Customers will receive whatever the National Weather Service's Fahrenheit reading is below zero at the checkout as a percentage off of purchases.
If the reading is minus 20, customers will get 20 percent off, if it's minus 15, 15 percent off and so on.
The store said it's been five years since it has offered the sale that applies to all nondiscounted records, CDs, supplies and gear.
The discount can also be manually added to web orders until 8 p.m. Wednesday.
"There’s always a mountain of work to be done here and Wisconsinites love weather challenges plus, we’ve never closed due to the weather in our 30+ years so, we’re not closing now," the post said.
