Tickets go on sale Friday for Sunflower Days in Pope Farm Conservancy

Tickets required to attend Sunflower Days

As summer officially arrives, organizers of the Sunflower Days at Pope Farm Conservancy launched ticket sales for the first year.

This year, Middleton is hosting Sunflower Days July 26 to Aug. 4 for the first time. Organizers who traditionally hosted Sunflower Days canceled Sunflower Days in 2018 due to safety concerns, a release says. This year, Middleton created a new plan that includes shuttle rides and tickets to minimize large crowd safety concerns.

Tickets are $4 for adults. Children 12 and under will be admitted at no charge. On the day of the events, there will be limited numbers of tickets available for purchase at shuttle stop sites and the main entrance.

Parking near Pope Farm Conservancy will be limited. Town Administrator Greg DiMiceli says he recommends people use the shuttles that will run every 30 minutes from Wisconsin Brewing Co. and Capital Ice Arena.

"We designed the transportation plan to ease the stress of finding a parking space and to ensure the safety of visitors, especially children, who previously crossed busy roads during the event," DiMiceli says.

Tickets can be purchased here.
