Celebrate making it halfway through the week with vomFASS-delecTABLE’s Fess Parker Winery Dinner this Wednesday. From pinot noir to chardonnay and riesling, five wines from Fess, a California winery, will be paired with a flavorful five-course meal from chef Kristin Williams. The dinner will include a coonskin cap, mushroom bisque, a pineapple and pork dish, grass fed Wisconsin rib-eye and a toasted coconut bread pudding. $64 per person for bar seating, $69 per person for general seating, $79 per person at chef’s table (reservations required, prices don’t include tax and 18 percent service charge at event), 6-9  p.m., click here for more info

VomFASS-delecTABLE has yet another event this week that will teach you how to pair beer with food. The Beer & Food Pairing | with The Beer Trade will feature five beers and five courses to show you how flavors work together. Sunday, March 18
Lake Louie Brewing is joining the chefs of Graze to put together the Lake Louie Beer Dinner this Sunday. Brewmaster Tom Porter will share his wealth of beer knowledge with diners as they enjoy food and beer pairings. Lake Louie favorites and limited edition beers will be available, and the menu will feature a spent beer grains pretzel with beer cheese, beer-marinated and braised beef and more. $65 per person, 5-9 p.m., click here for more info

Monday, March 19
Did someone say unlimited samples? Don't miss next Monday's Top Shelf Winter Taste 2018 at The Edgewater, hosted by Madison Magazine. While trying top shelf ryes, bourbons and whiskeys, you will get to indulge in both savory and sweet treats at this annual event. There will also be live music while you peruse a wide selection of fine spirits and flavorful food at your pleasure. $30 per person, 6-9 p.m., click here for more info

The Growler Event at Grampa’s Pizzeria will pair two favorites together for a great value. If you stop in, you can get a growler of Pallet Jack Cruiser IPA, Silurian Stout, Polka King Porter, L’Hiver Dark Winter Farmhouse Ale or Hacienda Beer Co.'s Everything Eventually and a pizza for $25.
