Madison home struck by gunfire Sunday night, police say

MADISON, Wis. — A Madison man narrowly escaped a bullet when his house was shot at Sunday night.

According to the Madison Police Department, they responded to the 2900 block of Traceway Drive around 9:45 p.m. Sunday for a report of a house hit with gunfire.

The man and woman living in the home said they were inside the house when they heard gunshots. The man said he was almost hit by one of the bullets.

Police do not believe the house was the intended target.

The incident is under investigation.
