Madison College hosts first pow-wow since pandemic began

MADISON, Wis. — Madison College hosted a pow-wow on Saturday, the first one at the school since the COVID-19 pandemic began.

Native American artists and vendors displayed and sold hand-crafted works, and other activities helped celebrate local Native American culture.

“We have students who are Native who come here to Madison College,” Nicole Soulier said. “This pow-wow is a celebration of them.”

Multiple students groups at the school helped organize the event.
