Madison College-Edgewood partnership eases transition between schools
MADISON, Wis. — Students hoping to transfer from Madison College to Edgewood College may find it easier to complete a four-year degree, officials from both campuses said Friday.
In a news release, officials said students who graduate from Madison College with degrees in civil or electrical engineering or health service are guaranteed admission at Edgewood. Engineering students would be able to earn a degree in physics as well as engineering, or in sociology as well as human services.
Students can also complete an Associate of Arts or Sciences degree at Madison College before transferring to Edgewood to become licensed elementary education instructors, the release said.
Officials said the partnership will help students find additional higher education opportunities in in-demand career fields.
