Madison BCycle to offer free rides March 31-April 7
MADISON, Wis. — The local bicycle program Madison BCycle is returning for the year and giving away free rides during the first week in April.
According to a release from the company, anyone can get a free 24-hour pass between March 31 and April 7. With the pass, riders can take unlimited 30-minute rides. The promo code for the free rides is 777464.
This promotion is happening during “Spring Back to BCycle Week.” The company will also be offering discounts on its social media accounts.
Another change the company announced Friday is the look of the bicycles. BCycle has added reflective panels to the baskets of all of its bikes to improve visibility and increase safety.
In 2017, the company provided around 115,000 rides. Madison BCycle offers 45 stations and 350 bicycles across Madison. The Executive Director of Madison BCycle, Morgan Ramaker, said the company wants to continue to grow.
“We can’t wait to keep building on last year’s momentum with a great 2018 season,” Ramaker said. “Starting with free rides during Spring Back to BCycle Week, we’re eager to encourage new and familiar riders to
explore Madison by bike in 2018.”
