Madison Area Sports Commission wins national award for efforts to grow sports tourism

The Madison Area Sports Commission is being honored with a national award for the organization’s efforts to grow sports tourism in the greater Madison area.

The National Association of Sports Commissions selected MASC as Sports Commission of the Year, acknowledging the work done in partnership with the Madison community to grow sports tourism.

MASC was selected as the best city under 500,000 people while the Louisville (Kentucky) Sports Commission was chosen as the top city over 500,000 people.

NASC recognized the success MASC has had with IRONMAN Wisconsin, the CrossFit Games and, most recently, Bucky on Parade.
