Madison 15-year-old arrested in bullying incident
Police: Victim attacked at park with three younger cousins
MADISON, Wis. — Madison police said they arrested a 15-year-old girl on battery charges following a bullying incident at a park near Allied Drive on Saturday.
The incident happened around 9:20 p.m. Saturday in the park in the 2200 block of Allied Drive.
According to police, the 15-year-old victim had taken three younger cousins to the park, when she saw a girl who had bullied her in the past with another group of people.
Police said the victims grabbed her cousins and tried to leave, but the group chased her down, and the other 15-year-old hit her approximately 10 times.
The victim called police, who found the teen and took her to the juvenile detention center.
