Mad-City Ski Team wins national championship
WARSAW, Ind. — The Mad-City Ski Team won the national team title at the 45th Indmar Marine Engines Division 1 Show Ski National Championships in Warsaw, Indiana on Sunday, according to a release.
Mad-City Ski Team earned high-scoring awards for showmanship, overall show, dock and equipment personnel, towboat driving and sound crew.

The team is made up of more than 100 members from age 3 to over 60.
Mad-City Ski team defeated 14 other teams to win the national championship.
In competitive skiing, each club has one hour to present a theatrical performance. Judges score the performances based on originality, presentation and execution.
This year Mad-City performed a ski version of “The Wizard of Oz.”
It is the Mad-City Ski Team’s first national title since 2009. The team won the titles from 2006-2009.
The team puts on free shows on Sundays at 6 p.m. at Law Park on Lake Monona.
The Mad-City Ski Team will put on free shows until Labor Day weekend.
