Lt. snow develops this afternoon, impacts evening rush hour -Haddie
Light snow will start to develop this afternoon across southern Wisconsin. The snow will start northwest of Dane county during the early afternoon and spread southeast by evening.
Light snow is expected during the evening commute. Drivers should prepare for a longer-than-average drive home. Snow will gradually taper from west to east late in the day. Accumulation totals will be on the light side with most locations picking up less than 2″.
Temperatures will fall into the teens tonight and will rise to the low 30s Thursday morning. With mostly sunny skies, some melting may occur Thursday afternoon.
