Local businesses donate to ‘Shop With A Cop’ program
MADISON, Wis. — Cost Cutters Salons donated $20,000 to Dane County’s “Shop With A Cop” program Monday — including an additional $5,000 owner William Kaminski donated during the press conference.
The “Shop With A Cop” program aims to foster a positive connection between the community and law enforcement officers by having police take economically disadvantaged children on a holiday shopping trip.
Kaminski said he donated because it’s important to give back to the community, especially law enforcement.
Law enforcement officers from Dane County will participate in the “Shop With A Cop” event this Sunday at Target.
