Lloyd C. Brockmann
Lloyd Charles Brockmann was born in Mazomanie on April 28, 1925 and passed away on November 28, 2017. His mother was Olive Corneil Brockmann and his father was Louis Brockmann.
For 63 years he was a farmer on their home farm and worked with his father and brother Merlyn until 1975. After that he helped with field work until 1993. In 1995 he was a driver for Weaver Auto Parts in Cross Plains until 2002.
Lloyd enjoyed hunting deer and small game, fishing, bowling,reading and playing cards. For several years he picked up hickory nuts and would crack them during the winter months to pass time. When he didn’t have nuts to process, he would go gambling with his wife Ann and took some bus trips.
On August 15, 1964 he married Anna Marie Eichelkraut Wilkinson in Marxville and have been married 53 years. In 1973 Lloyd legally adopted Ann’s children Sonya and Steven. He was a great husband and dad to us all.
Survivors include his wife Anna Brockmann of Waunakee, daughter Sonya (Jon) Tourdot of Belleville, son Steven Brockmann of Belleville. Also his two brothers, Merlyn (Betty) Brockman of Mazomanie and Harland (Mariellen) Brockman of Sauk City. Lloyd’s grandchildren include Jessica (Damian) Mimetz and Kara, Tami and Gina Brockmann. Also he had great-grandchildren Reagan, Roman, David, Michael, Trinity, Sophia and Alexis along with many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Louis and Olive Brockman, sister, Dorothy Ketelboeter, grandson Andrew Chenoweth and his nephews Glen and Richard Ketelboeter.
Lloyd was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Marxville.
Visitation will be on Friday, December 1st from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Hooverson Funeral Home, Sauk City, WI Funeral services will be held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Marxville, WI, on Saturday, December 2nd with visitation at 10:00 & service at 11:00. Burial and lunch following.
